Hi! I'm Alan (Ala’a) Janbay. I was born in Syria and moved to the U.S. in 2001 after packing my life into two large suitcases to start a new one 7,000 miles away. Like all immigrants, it was the pursuit of a brighter future that drew us to America, the land of opportunity. I was ready and excited to start building a new future where I could get educated, work and be free to live life the way I wanted to.

Aside from having created the first alphabet and musical note, Syrians and my people of the Levant are known for their generosity, huge hearts and delicious foods. That's what I hope to bring to you through this creative journey, a little piece of home straight from my heart. This hot sauce is a product of cultural exchange and it is my way of connecting both worlds, everything in between, from the East Mediterranean to the Caribbean and beyond. 

I hope you keep coming back for more of this hot sauce and don't ever hesitate to let me know how TFP can continue to improve.
